Bercomac Frame/Drive for Toro GT or LX series (1638HX) Tractor
I have For Sale a Subframe and Drive Mechanism for mounting a Bercomac 40" Compact Snowblower on a Toro GT or LX series (13 to 24 HP) Lawn Tractor. Originally mounted on Toro 1638HXL.
The Snowblower that mounts to this Subframe and Drive Mechanism is a universal style that works on many small lawn tractors and is manufactured by Bercomac, located in Quebec, Canada. I bought this setup Used from Carl F. Statz and Sons in Waunakee, WI for use on my John Deere LT155 tractor. The snowblower was the correct Model for my JD, but I had to buy the Subframe and Drive Mechanism new from Bercomac for my John Deere Model. My Subframe and Drive Mechanism cost me $476 (including $75 for shipping) new from Bercomac.
Since the used Subframe and Drive Mechanism I bought had been mounted on a Toro tractor I couldn't use it and am now making it available at a significant savings to a Toro owner. If interested in these items you would also need to buy the Snowblower Model 700255 new from Bercomac unless you could find a used one in the area. If you are looking for a snowblower for your Toro you couldn't go wrong by getting a Bercomac. It is a two-stage blower and it will throw the snow 40-50 feet away (based on my experience from last Winter). You can check out more information about the Bercomac at www.bercomac.com.
